Personal data deletion policy

At Sakanly, we respect your privacy and offer you the ability to delete your account and personal data at any time.

🔹 How to request account deletion?

You can request account deletion in two ways:

From the app or website

Go to Account Settings → Delete my account, then follow the instructions.

By email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion" and include the email address associated with your account.

🔹 What data is deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased:

  • Your personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Your published listings
  • Your messages and conversations
  • Your saved favorites and searches
  • Your browsing history on the platform

🔹 Data retained for legal reasons

In accordance with Moroccan law (Law 09-08), certain data may be retained in anonymized form for:

  • Legal and tax obligations
  • Fraud prevention and security

🔹 Processing time

Your account will be deactivated immediately after the request. You have a 90-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion by logging back in. After this period, the deletion is final and irreversible.
